Delete your Roommates account
This page explains how users of Roommates (Home Task) by Snitchouse can request deletion of their account and associated data.
Delete your account in the app
- Sign in to Roommates.
- Open the Profile tab.
- Select Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion.
Your account deletion starts immediately. If Firebase requires a recent login, sign in again and retry.
Request deletion without the app
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address associated with your Roommates account. Include the subject Roommates account deletion request. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request. Verified requests will be completed within 30 days.

Deleting your account permanently deletes your Firebase Authentication account. Backend cleanup also removes:
- Your profile and notification tokens.
- Your membership from groups.
- Task completion records associated with your user ID.
- Report records where you were the reported person.
- Related profile and report images stored under your user paths.
Data that may be retained
Some shared group content may remain when needed by other group members, but it should no longer identify your deleted account where cleanup applies. Backups, security logs, and records required by law may be retained for a limited period according to Google/Firebase practices and applicable legal requirements.
